EXCEL SLN FUNCTION

The Excel SLN function computes an asset’s straight line depreciation over a single term.

Syntax :

=SLN( costsalvagelife )

Parameters :

  • The following parameter are :

cost –

  • The asset’s initial purchase price.

Salvage –

  • The asset’s worth at the conclusion of depreciation.

life –

  • The number of periods over which an asset will be depreciated.
