The Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) was founded on December 1, 1990, and is a self-regulatory legal body governed by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). It also organizes and supervises securities trading, as well as carrying out the responsibilities imposed by laws, regulations, rules, and policies. Its primary responsibilities include providing a venue and facilities for securities trading, formulating operational rules, receiving listing applications and arranging securities listings, organizing and supervising securities trading, supervising members, regulating listed companies, managing and disseminating market information, and other CSRC-approved functions.
