EXCEL RIGHT FUNCTION

This function returns the right side characters in a string based on the amount of characters you give.

Syntax:

=RIGHT (text, [num_chars])

Parameter list:

  • text – the text from which the letters on the right are extracted.
  • num chars – the number of characters to extract, starting on the right. Optional; the default value is 1.
