EXCEL PHI Function

For a given integer, the Excel PHI function returns the density function for a standard normal distribution.

Syntax :

=PHI( x )

Parameters :

The x input specifies the number for which the density function for a standard normal distribution should be calculated.

Example :

  • #NUM! – If x is an invalid numeric number, PHI returns the  error value.
  • #VALUE!  – If x uses an invalid data type, such as a nonnumeric number, PHI returns the error value.
