EXCEL NOMINAL FUNCTION

The Excel Nominal function calculates the nominal interest rate based on the effective interest rate is the amount of loading cycles per year.

Syntax :

=NOMINAL( effect_ratenpery )

Parameters :

effect_rate –

  • effect rate denotes the effective interest rate (a numerical value, between 0 and 1).

  • The annual number of compound interest (must be a positive integer).
