Sydney, Australia is home to the Australian Securities Exchange. In 1999, the Australian Stock Exchange and the Sydney Futures Exchange merged to become the Exchange in its current form. The ASX serves as a market maker, a clearing house, and a payment processor.

Pre-market trading hours     7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Normal trading hours        10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Post market trading hours   4:12 PM to 6:50 PM

S&P/ASX 300.

The S&P/ASX 300 index was created to give investors a broader view of the Australian equities market. It measures up to 300 of Australia’s largest securities by float-adjusted market capitalization and is liquid and float-adjusted. The S&P/ASX 300 index includes the S&P/ASX Index Series’ large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap components.
