EXCEL IMCSC FUNCTION

The Imcsc function in Excel returns the cosecant of a real or complex.

Syntax :

=IMCSC( inumber )

Parameters :

  • The complex number whose cosecant you wish to compute is specified by the inumber parameter.

Example :

Column B of the worksheet below provides four distinct instances of the Imcsc function. Each example has a unique approach for supplying the complex number to the function.
In cell B1, the real number 0.5 equals the complex number 0.5+0i; in cell B4, the Excel Complex Function is used to construct the complex number 1-i.

  • #NUM! – Occurs if the given inumber parameter is not recognised as a complex number.
