EXCEL GAUSS FUNCTION

The GAUSS function in Excel calculates the likelihood that a member of a standard normal population will fall between the mean and a specified number of standard deviations from the mean. Because the Gauss function is new in Excel 2013, it is not available in previous versions of Excel.

Syntax : 

=GAUSS( z )

Parameters :

The following parameters are :

  • Where z is the real number at which the Gauss function should be evaluated

Example :

  • #NUM! -Occurs if the value of z given is not a valid number.
