EXCEL ACOTH FUNCTION

The Acoth function in Excel computes the hyperbolic arccotangent (coth) of a given number.

Syntax:

=ACOTH( number )

Perameter:

  • The number input is the value for which you want to compute the hyperbolic arccotangent. This can’t be less than -1 or more than +1.

Example:

The spreadsheet below depicts the Excel Acoth Function, which was used to compute the hyperbolic arccotangent of three distinct values:

  • #NUM! – If the given number is between -1 and +1, this error occurs (inclusive).
  • #VALUE! – Occurs if the number parameter supplied is not recognised as a numeric value.
