German stock market index DAX 30 was formerly referred to as Deutscher Aktien IndeX 30. DAX 30 consists of the 30 major German companies trading on the Frankfurt stock exchange. DAX 30 was launched on 30 December, 1987 & with a base value of 1000.
The index is calculated using free float methodology.
Working hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (CET).
