EXCEL IMCOSH FUNCTION

The Excel Imcosh function computes the hyperbolic cosine of a complex value.

Syntax :

=IMCOSH( inumber )

Parameters :

  • The inumber input is the complex integer for which you wish to compute the hyperbolic cosine.

Step By Step Guide of IMCOSH Function

Example :

The Imcosh function is illustrated in four distinct ways in Column B of the following spreadsheet. Each example has a distinct way for supplying the complex number to the function.
The actual figure 0.5, used in cell B1, is identical to the complex number 0.5+0i; the example in column B4 use the Excel Complicated Function to generate the complex number 1.

  • #NUM! – Occurs if the given inumber parameter is not accepted as a complex number.
  • #VALUE! – Occurs if the given inumber parameter is a logical value.
